Stretching and pinning of the specimen on a firm surface (wood or block of wax)

Photography of the specimen

Fixation for 24 h

Inking of deep and lateral margins

Slicing of the specimen at 2 mm interval

Submission of the sections in coded cassettes for easy reconstruction of the specimen
