Pleomorphic BCC: histomorphology. In pleomorphic BCC, the tumor nests have a similar architectural pattern to nodular or mixed nodular and infiltrative growth BCC (a). However, the tumors at high-power microscopy show pleomorphic nuclei with large diameters (‘monster cells’) (arrow) (b).
