Morpheaform (sclerosing) BCC: histomorphology. In a densely proplastic and heavily collagenized stroma, small irregular (sharply angulated) tongues of neoplastic basaloid cells, often 1–4 cells thick, are embedded in the collagen table. Slit-like retraction may be much less conspicuous than that seen in this particular example.
