Expression of HuR protein in seven human colon cancer cell lines cell lines investigated by Western blot (a) and RT-PCR (b). On the protein and mRNA level, HuR was expressed in all cell lines. Using confocal laser-scanning microscopy, HuR was found to be predominantly located in the nucleus in HT-29 cells (c).
