Reduced eIF-4A1 mRNA amounts after induction of AS-2x-central in stably transfected cell clones. The Tet-On cell line Bro-Tet-On was stably transfected with the antisense construct AS-2x-central. Amounts of eIF-4A1 mRNA were determined by Northern blotting after induction (+) and without induction (−) with doxycycline in five individual cell clones (499-). Expression levels for β-actin were analysed in parallel and were used for normalisation.
