Effect of zoledronic acid (ZOL) on MDA-MB-231 cell proliferation. Cells (5 × 105) were seeded per well and cells were counted in a particle counter after 3 days of culture with a minimal concentration of FCS (2%) to ensure viability of the cells in the presence or absence of indicated concentrations of ZOL. Results are mean±s.e.m. of four independent experiments (**P<0.01).
