Transcriptional activity of the MK and AFP genomic fragments tested in AFP-producing HCC (HuH-7 and PLC/PRF/5), AFP-nonproducing HCC (HLE and HLF) and non-HCC (MCF-7 and AsPC-1) cells. The relative firefly luciferase activity was expressed as a percentage of the SV40 promoter-mediated activity. Standard error bars are also shown.
