123I-MIBG-scintigraphy of nude mice with the GOT1 tumour growing in the back of the neck. At 4 h (left), there was a widespread distribution of 123I-MIBG and the tumour was not detectable. After 24 h (right), the uptake in the tumour (T) remained high and it was now clearly visible. Both at 4 and 24 h, the salivary glands (S) and urinary bladder (B) were visible.
