Chromatograms of a patient of group 1a (OSCC with mandibular bony infiltration) at the time of diagnosis (A) and group 1b (6 months after successful treatment) (B). The fluorescence was monitored with excitation at 297 nm and emission at 397 nm. The HP peak arose at 17.5 min after injection, followed by the LP peak. Of note are the decreased HP and LP peaks in group 1b as compared to group 1a.
