  1. Animals received vincristine by i.v. injection. Body weight was determined daily. Animals experiencing more than 20% body weight loss were killed and counted as toxic deaths. The size of, especially, the highest dose groups was kept as low as possible in order to minimise the number of animals experiencing major discomfort.
