Western blot analysis of WWOX protein in HCCs. (A) WWOX polyclonal antibody was used to detect WWOX protein in total protein extracts. Two normal liver samples (normal 1 and normal 2) were used to determine WWOX levels in nonmalignant tissue. Protein loading was normalised by Western analysis of actin levels using a mouse antiactin antibody. (B) Densitometric measurements from Western blots were used to calculate WWOX protein levels in HCC cell lines relative to WWOX protein levels in normal liver (WWOX HCC/WWOX normal).
