G25 and G20 are diffuse-type gastric cancer and intestinal-type gastric cancer, respectively. (A) G25 noncancerous mucosa, (B) G25 diffuse-type gastric cancer, (C) G20 noncancerous mucosa, (D) G20 intestinal-type gastric cancer. Positive staining of SPARC is indicated by a dark brown colour. The SPARC expression was stained mainly in the gastric cancer cells, and less intensively in the stroma cells.
