Western blot analyses of PPARγ expression in normal ovary, benign and grade 3 ovarian tumours. (A) Western blot was carried out as described in the Material and Methods section. A total of 10 μg of protein was loaded in a total volume of 20 μl in each lane. The results are representative of one experiment repeated three times. (B) β-actin staining of the same samples loaded in same concentration to ensure equal protein loading. (C) Quantification of PPARγ expression was performed by densitometry and expressed as mean peak OD±s.e.m. of the number of samples described in each group.
