Perforin and granzyme-B on NK cells cultured with IL-21. Peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) derived from patients (n=8) were cultured with IL-21 at the indicated doses (1, 5, and 10 μg ml−1) for 24 h. Thereafter, the expression of perforin and granzyme-B molecules on NK cells (CD56(+)CD3(−)) was analysed by intracellular staining with flow cytometry. Representative data of flow cytometry and summarised data are shown.
