Lanes labelled 0.05, 0.5 and 5 contain respectively 0.05 ng, 0.5 ng and 5 ng of recombinant pBluescript II SK(-) plasmid DNA carrying the 154 bp fragment of 5S rDNA gene from N. tabacum used as standards for quantitative evaluation of copy numbers.
