Southern blot analysis of hobo sequences in line 11 at different generations. The probe used was the 2.6 kb fragment generated by XhoI digestion of pHFL1. Lane 1 corresponds to Tours82 strain as a positive control, lane 2 to Hikone strain as negative control, lanes 3–7 to line 11 at G63, G71, G110, G125 and G208, respectively.
