  1. Results of crosses between males and females with various infection statuses. Mean±standard error of numbers of male wasps, total offspring production, SR (percentage of males), CI level, and percentage of MD type. n indicates the number of couples tested. Parametric tests were carried out for the number of male wasps and total offspring (one-way ANOVA and least significant difference tests), and nonparametric tests for the three other parameters (Kruskal–Wallis and Mann–Whitney tests). Means marked with the same letter are not significantly different (P=0.05).
