Chemical configuration and microstructure of Se-rGO. (a) C 1s, (b) O 1s, (c) Se 3d X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy spectra of Se-rGO. Se-rGO possesses chalcogen heteroatoms involved in C–O, C=O, C–Se and Se–O bonding. Most of Se atoms are present in the form of C–Se bonds. (d) Raman spectra of rGO and Se-rGO. The two Raman spectra are similar, as are their ID/IG intensity ratios, indicating that the carbon microstructure was not changed by selenium doping.
