Target gene knockdown induces cell-cycle arrest and apoptosis in MPM cells. (A) MPM cells were transfected with control siRNA or gene-specific siRNA (5 nM) and changes in cell-cycle progression were analysed by Accuri C6 flow cytometry 48 h post transfection. Representative histograms are shown. (B) MPM cells transfected with the same siRNA as in (A) were harvested 48 h post transfection and the induction of apoptosis was assessed by Annexin V and PI staining using the Tali image-based flow cytometry system.
