Gene expression was analysed in 5 time points post-treatment (days 1, 2, 4, 7 and 14). Early (late) genes were differentially expressed in days 1, 2 and 4 (days 7 and 14). Transient (sustained) were differentially expressed in a single time point (more than one time point).
