The size was estimated using biopsy forceps. (B) Histological examination showed serration in the lower crypt, and distorted, dilated, or anchor-shaped crypts (H&E staining). (C) Representative endoscopic view of ACF in the right-side colon from the same patient (case 7). ACF were identified by methylene blue staining under magnifying endoscopy. ACF consisted of larger and more darkly stained crypts than normal crypts. (D) Histological examinations showed serration and distortion of the crypts (H&E staining).
