Immunofluorescence studies reveal cytoskeletal changes in two pHGG cell lines after LiCl and BIO treatment. The effects of the two inhibitors LiCl and BIO on cell morphology of (A) SF188 and (B) KNS42 were assessed by immunofluorescent labelling. Green labelling–alpha-tubulin, actin or vinculin; red labelling–actin and blue labelling–DAPI staining. Magnification × 63; changes in the distribution of (C) the actin cytoskeleton (cortical, stress fibres, ‘other’) and (D) focal adhesions (cortical, diffuse, whole cell body) were observed following scoring of at least 100 cells.
