From: Mitochondrial fusion is regulated by Reaper to modulate Drosophila programmed cell death
Reaper binds to MFN2. (a) Biotinylated Reaper-16-65, (b) 16-65ΔGH3 or GH3 domain were incubated in Xenopus egg extract and pulled down with streptavidin sepharose. The precipitate was then analyzed by western blotting using MFN2 antibody. Control (Ctrl) lanes show precipitations with free biotin bound to streptavidin beads. (c) Purified His-tagged MFN2 was bound to nickel beads and incubated in Xenopus egg extracts treated with Reaper-16–65. Control lanes show pull downs with nickel beads bound to free histidine
