Zn2+ supplementation promotes MMPs activation and increases BDNF levels in 3xTg-AD mice. (a) Gelatine zymography indicates that Zn2+ treatment induces a significant increase of MMP-2 and MMP-9 activation in 3xTg-AD mice brains.
