Combined treatment with IR and PKC 412 induces death of U-1810 NSCLC cells. U-1810 cells were exposed to IR (8 Gy) and 24 h post-incubation treated with PKC 412 (1 μ M) for another 24 h before western blot analysis of PARP cleavage (a) or flow cytometric analysis of cytokeratin 18 cleavage (b) was examined. Data presented are the means of three independent experiments. T-test was used for statistical analysis (*=P<0.05). (c) The effect of IR and PKC412 on cell proliferation was analyzed at 72 h post IR in samples treated as in (a) using MTS cell proliferation assay. Data shown are the mean of three independent experiments. T-test was used for statistical analysis (P≤0.05)
