Depletion of αNAC induces apoptotic cell death and casp8-dependent casp3 activation. (a) Annexin V assay. PC3 cells depleted with αNAC exhibit positive fluorescent signals (upper panel). We counted 500 cells in each group and performed statistical analysis (lower panel). (b) The indicated PC3 cells were harvested and subjected for western blot analysis. The indicated antibodies were used to probe the membrane. (c) PC3 cells were transfected with empty vector or plasmids expressing caspase -3, -8, or -9 DN.
