From: CT45A1 acts as a new proto-oncogene to trigger tumorigenesis and cancer metastasis

CT45A1 induces overexpression of EMT, stemness, and metastatic genes. After MCF7-V and MCF7-CT45A1 cells were cultured in serum-free medium (SF-EFB) for 5 days, expression of EMT, stemness, and metastatic genes in the cells was determined using semi-quantative RT-PCR (a). Expression levels of TWIST1 (b), ALDH1A1 (c), KIT (d), SULF2 (e), and CXCR4 (f) were quantitatively measured using QT-PCR. The experiments were repeated for three times. Samples were compared using one-way ANOVA, and error bars of the data indicated mean±S.D., **P<0.01, as compared with MCF7-V cells
