iASPP expression differs between benign and malignant human prostate epithelium. (a) iASPP is mainly expressed in the nucleus and cytoplasm of p63-positive basal cells, and to a lesser extent in the nucleus of luminal epithelial cells, in benign human prostate epithelium. Nuclear (P=0.002) and cytoplasmic (P=0.01) iASPP expression is increased in human prostate cancer samples compared with benign epithelial cell samples.
