Validation of representative genes from the gene array using qRT-PCR. The 621.102 and 621.103 cells were treated for 48h with 75 μM FTS, 10 nM rapamycin or 0.1% Me2SO4 (control). The mRNA levels of the indicated genes were then quantified with specific primers by RT-PCR (see Materials and methods section). Downregulated (a) and upregulated genes (b) are shown. The results correlate with the gene array analysis (means±S.E.M., n=3)
