Pin1 mediates Che-1 dissociation from p53. (a) EJ p53−/− cells were transiently transfected with WT p53 and its mutant S46A and treated with 20 Gy IR. Nuclear extracts were immunoprecipitated with anti-p53 antibody and analyzed by WB with the indicated abs. (b) EJ cells were transiently transfected with WT p53 and its mutant 6M that does not bind Pin1 and treated with 1 μM Dox for the indicated times. Nuclear extracts treated as shown in (a and c).
