Impact of c-MYC overexpression on the deletion of Mcl-1fl alleles in pre-leukemic B-lymphoid cells. (a) Total leukocyte numbers in the bone marrow, spleen and lymph nodes of 3–4-week-old pre-leukemic Eμ-Myc, Eμ-Myc;CD19-Cre and Eμ-Myc;CD19-Cre;Mcl-1fl/+ mice and wild-type (control) mice was determined by cell counting (n=3–5). (b) The total numbers of pro-B (B220+c-Kit+sIg-), pre-B (B220+c-Kit-sIg-) and sIg+-B cells (B220+c-Kit-sIg+) in the bone marrow of 3–4-week-old pre-leukemic wild-type (control), Eμ-Myc, Eμ-Myc;CD19-Cre and Eμ-Myc;CD19-Cre;Mcl-1fl/+ mice were determined by flow cytometric analysis.
