From: Salusin-β contributes to oxidative stress and inflammation in diabetic cardiomyopathy

Effects of interrupting salusin-β on inflammation in myocardium in rats with diabetes (DM). Intravenous injection of adenoviral vectors encoding salusin-β shRNA (Ad-Salusin-shRNA, 2.0 × 1010 plaque-forming units) or scramble shRNA (Ad-Scr-shRNA) were carried out and repeated for 2 weeks in rats.
