MICU1 regulates the oxidative responses, apoptosis and cell growth in vitro. (a) Detection of oxidative imbalance. In MICU1-KD cells, the oxidative product MDA was significantly increased, whereas the antioxidant products (GSH-Px, CAT, and SOD) decreased. (b) TUNEL stain. The nuclei of the apoptotic cells were positively stained brownish yellow. The proportion of the positively immunostained cells were significantly higher than those of NC group and control group. (c) Growth curve. From day 6, the OD values of cultured MICU1-KD cells were significantly lower than those of NC and control. Statistical analysis was performed by one-way ANOVA test and independent t-test. versus control, *P<0.05, **P<0.01; versus NC, #P<0.05, ##P<0.01.
