Anp32e preferentially associates with H2A.Z in vitro and in vivo. (A) Recombinant HA-Anp32e preferentially associates with Flag-H2A.Z-H2B dimers in immunoprecipitation experiments in vitro. (B) Anp32e, but not Anp32a or Anp32b, associates with Flag-H2A.Z-H2B dimers. (C) Immunoprecipitation with antibodies against Flag specifically enriches Anp32e in cells expressing Flag-H2A.Z but not in cells expressing Flag-H2A. (D) Affinity purification from Flag-Anp32e-expressing cells revealed that H2B and H2A.Z associate with Flag-Anp32e.
