Immunodetection of human apoA-I and mouse apoA-I in the mice sera. Immunodetection indicated that V156K and R173C bands were detected much more that of WT-apoA-I band at 48 h post-infusion, whereas no significant change was found in mouse apoA-I level among all groups. The V156K and R173C levels were determined to be similar (around 15 mg/dl) 48 h after infusion using ELISA-based quantification as described in the text (A). Human proapoA-I and mouse apoA-I were detected as bands of 29 and 28 kDa, respectively (B). The mean values not sharing a common letter are significantly different between groups (P < 0.01).
