Effect of DDS on PQ uptake in mouse lung tissues. The level of PQ uptake was examined in lung tissues from mice treated with saline (control), PQ alone, and PQ + DDS (2 mg/kg, n = 3) using HPLC analysis. HPLC samples were prepared and analyzed as described in Methods.
