Syringaresinol stimulates in vivo and ex vivo NO production. (A) HUVECs were incubated with or without VEGF, syringaresinol, and L-NMA for 1 h. The intracellular levels of NO were determined by confocal laser microscopy using DAF-FM diacetate. (B) Mouse aortic rings were incubated with or without syringaresinol and L-NMA, and the NO level was determined by real-time fluorescence microscopy using DAF-FM diacetate.
