In the diabetic control group, macrovesicular steatosis occupied greater than normal control group. GW0742 treated diabetic rat group showed markedly decreased fatty accumulation compared to the diabetic control group. (B) Analysis of intrahepatic TG was shown. The increased intrahepatic TG level of the diabetic control group was significantly decreased by GW0742 treatment.
