Relative mRNA expression of TNF-α (A), MCP-1 (B), PGC-1α (C), and CPT-1 (D) in liver tissues. Inflammatory cytokine expression was significantly decreased in GW0742 treated diabetic rat group (DM + GW) compared to the diabetic control group (DM). The mRNA expression of PGC-1α was significantly decreased by GW0742 treatment. The mRNA expression of CPT-1 was significantly decreased in both DM and DM + GW groups compared with that of normal control group. *P < 0.05 vs control; †P < 0.05 vs DM.
