Figure 8

STAMP2 interacts with HBx protein. (A) HepG2 cells were transiently transfected with mammalian HA/HBx and/or GFP/STAMP2 expression vectors. Cell lysates were immunoprecipitated with anti-HA antibody, followed by immunoblotting with anti-GFP antibody. (B) Cell lysates were immunoprecipitated with anti-GFP antibody, followed by immunoblotting with anti-HA antibody. (C) HepG2 cells were transiently transfected with HBx and/or GFP/STAMP2 expression vectors. Cell lysates were immunoprecipitated with anti-Gal4 antibody, followed by immunoblotting with anti-GFP antibody. (D) Huh7 cells were transfected with different combinations of GFP-STAMP2 and pSG5-HBx expression vectors. HBx expression was confirmed by staining with anti-HBx monoclonal antibody and TRITC-conjugated anti-mouse antibody. After 24 h of transfection, cells were counterstained with Hoechst in order to label nuclei, and cell imaging was assessed by fluorescence microscopy.
