From: Pycnogenol attenuates atherosclerosis by regulating lipid metabolism through the TLR4–NF-κB pathway

Lipid deposition resulting from ADRP and ALBP upregulation was regulated through the LPS-activated TLR4-NF-κB pathway. Before stimulation with the indicated doses of PYC, THP-1 cells were preconditioned with anti-TLR4 antibody or 25 μM PDTC for 2 h, and activation of the TLR4 (a) and NF-κB signaling pathway (b) was analyzed by western blotting analysis. The protein levels of ADRP and ALBP via the LPS-activated TLR4 and NF-κB pathway were determined (c).
