Treatment with the aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH) inhibitor gossypol induces ATP depletion. (a) Effect of 10 μM of gossypol on ATP production in EKVX cells overexpressing various ALDH isoforms. Overexpression primer sets of ALDH isoforms are summarized in the Table 4.
