Comparative organization of the coding region in the studied Polycomb genes grouped by Polycomb complex in the 15 Drosophila species. Conserved exons are represented by black boxes that indicate the direction of transcription and conserved introns by lines. Empty white boxes indicate nonconserved exons and white boxes with internal lines indicate nonconserved introns. The length of the conserved introns interrupted by dashes is not proportional to the scale.
