The percentage of genera was plotted on the X-axis in ascending order of sequences they occupied (from lowest to highest abundance), the percentage of number of sequences on the Y-axis. The ‘line of perfect equality’ was depicted by a straight line in which ‘N’% of the genera would always had ‘N’% of the sequences. The observed Lorenz curves of seven time points were far away from the line of perfect equality and formed an area shown in gray. The larger this area, the more uneven a community was.
