Effect of NaF on the suppression of osteocla st differentiation. Bone marrow cells were cultured with M-CSF (30 ng·mL−1) and RANKL (100 ng·mL−1) for 7 days to stimulate osteoclastogenesis. The cells were then cultured with the indicated concentrations of fluoride for 3 days. mRNA expression levels of genes were determined by quantitative Real-time RT-PCR and compared with β-actin as a control. The results are expressed as means ± standard deviation. n = 3 per group (*P < 0.05).
