In the first sentence of the ‘Result’ section of the Abstract, the percentage of infants in the NCPAP group who needed MVET at 7 days of age should have been shown as 42%, not 40%. The beginning of the seventh sentence of the ‘Results’ section of the article—‘The primary outcome of infants not requiring MVET at 7 days of age was 17% (9/53) in the NIPPV group…’—should have been ‘The percentage of infants requiring MVET at 7 days of age was 17% (9/53) in the NIPPV group…’
