B6 mice injected with FTY720 show sequestration of T cells in the thymus and lymph nodes but not of NKT cells in the primary and secondary lymphoid organs. (a) The bone marrow, spleen, thymus, liver, and lymph nodes were collected from control B6 and B6 mice intraperitoneally injected with FTY720 (20 μg per mouse) or vehicle (20 μg per mouse) 24 h before the killing, and the cell numbers in the organs were counted. (b–f) The cells obtained from the organs were stained with anti-NK1.1 and TCR-β mAb to count the numbers of T, NK, and NKT cells.
