From: Immortalized liver endothelial cells: a cell culture model for studies of motility and angiogenesis
Isolation and immortalization scheme. HSECs were isolated from mouse liver by mechanical disruption, enzymatic digestion, and CD31-based immunomagnetic separation. HSECs were immortalized with SV40 large T-antigen and subcloned on the basis of their ability to endocytose AcLDL.
