Hydrogen peroxide does not alter protein expression and phosphorylation of IGFR in neuronal cells. PC12 cells were treated with 0–1 mM H2O2 for 2 h, or with 0.5 and 0.7 mM H2O2 for 2 h after pretreatment with NAC (5 mM) for 1 h, followed by (a) western blot analysis with indicated antibodies, or (b) immunoprecipitation with antibodies to IGFRβ subunit (IGFRβ) plus A/G-agarose, and immunoblotting with antibodies to phosphotyrosine (p-Tyr) and IGFRβ, respectively. HC, heavy chain of IgG; LC, light chain of IgG.
