Expression levels of cell proliferation marker genes following the HCl/ethanol treatment. Total RNA was extracted from the stomachs of mice subjected to HCl/ethanol treatment and analyzed by quantitative RT-PCR for expression of c-fos and c-myc genes, general markers for cell proliferation.
